Portrait of the Artist as a Lone Tree | Love | |
The silly girl that loved me
Ever and ever and ever again,
my mind is mired in musing;
thinking of how I have thought all my life
that women were confusing.
Planning the catch that I never once caught,
of girls that whirled above me;
but never in thought would I ever resort
to the silly girl that loved me.
