Myfanwy the Spaniel comes bounding around the corner;
if somebody doesn't warn her, she'll chase herself home!
Alert and excited, she's one proper Cocker Spaniel,
you can't knock a Cocker Spaniel, wherever you roam.
She flushes the birds out, then fetches the bodies
you shot with your buddies, and brings them to hand!
Her tail always wagging, her hopes never ever sagging,
her vigour is never flagging, this Spaniel is grand!
